1. Acceptance

By accessing or using GG Anvil ("the Platform"), including the Discord bot, web portal, and marketing website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. About GG Anvil

GG Anvil is a competitive gaming tournament management platform that provides automated score verification, bracket management, clan and organisation administration, and a player portal. The Platform is operated by Good Game Anvil.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use GG Anvil
• You must have a valid Discord account
• You must provide accurate information
• One Discord account per person — multi-accounting is prohibited

4. Your Account

Your GG Anvil identity is linked to your Discord account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and all activity under your account. Do not share your portal access link with others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit falsified, manipulated, or doctored match screenshots
• Impersonate another player, clan leader, or administrator
• Use automated tools or scripts beyond our official Discord bot
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt unauthorised access to other users' data or platform systems
• Circumvent or manipulate scoring, ranking, or match resolution
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

6. Content and Submissions

When you submit match screenshots, you grant GG Anvil a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and analyse them for score verification and to display derived match results. Screenshots are automatically deleted after 7 days.

You retain ownership of content you submit. Match results, standings, and statistics derived from your participation are Platform data and may be displayed publicly on leaderboards and match cards.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit. False or misleading evidence may result in match forfeiture, score penalties, or account suspension.

7. Organisations and Billing

Organisation administrators are responsible for managing their org's members, competitions, and billing. Payments are processed by Stripe and/or Paystack. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. Platform Availability

GG Anvil is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time and reserve the right to discontinue any feature with reasonable notice.

9. Intellectual Property

The GG Anvil name, logo, branding, and software are the property of Good Game Anvil. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

10. Dispute Resolution

Match disputes are handled through the Platform's built-in system. Competition and organisation admins have authority within their scope; platform founders have final authority.

Platform disputes shall be: (1) first attempted to be resolved informally via hello@goodgameanvil.com, (2) if unresolved after 30 days, subject to mediation, (3) governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and (4) subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, GG Anvil is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not responsible for other users' actions or for errors in OCR score extraction.

12. Termination

You may stop using GG Anvil at any time. You may request deletion of your account and data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations. Termination does not affect published match results or standings.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
